Scots are obsessed with Vans’ accidental Irn-Bru trainers

Just in case you didn’t know this crucial bit of information: Irn-Bru is a very special beverage for people in Scotland.

Scotland may be the only place where Coca-Cola isn’t the fizzy drink of choice. When the recipe changed there was uproar.

So of course, when Scots spotted some trainers in Irn-Bru’s iconic tones of blue, orange, and white, they were bloody overjoyed.

The trainers are the work of Vans, currently being sold on ASOS for £60.

The music world has been shaken up by the news that Frightened Rabbit lead singer Scott Hutchison is missing.

Police have urged the public to keep an eye out for the Glasgow-based indie singer, who founded his band, after his family reported the disappearance.

He was last seen by his family in the Glaswegian district of Dennistoun and there are CCTV images showing him leaving the the Dakota Hotel.

Here’s what we know about the 6ft tall, bearded 36-year-old, whose solo moniker is Owl John.

Police have confirmed the tragic news that Frightened Rabbit frontman Scott Hutchison has died.

The talented musician, 36, had appeared to bid farewell to the world on Twitter on May 8 before vanishing from a Glasgow hotel.

On Thursday May 10, police found a body at Port Edgar near Edinburgh, which they have now confirmed to be Hutchison’s.

A family of birds have turned a remote Royal Mail postbox into their nest in Scotland.

Bird photographer William Dickson spotted the red mailbox on the road to Uisken Beach on the Isle of Mull while holidaying on the Hebridean island with his partner Maria McGowan.

Well, possibly. According to Laria Annand, 8, and her grandma, there’s no other explanation.

The schoolgirl filmed footage that appears to show something long and thin splashing around in the loch, while visiting with her grandmother Marie.
